The Charities Trust donated a total of HK$975 million to 135 charities
and community projects. The Trust has donated close to HK$1 billion
each year for more than a decade. Partnerships with charity groups
and non-governmental organisations allow the Trust to reach further
and wider into the community. Through their services, our funds
become tangible benefits. The Trust traditionally has given an
annual grant to these agencies that supports the costs of central
administration and selected programmes. In 2003-2004, HK$72 million
was allocated to 70 organisations for this purpose, allowing them
to devote their resources to what they do best: providing services
to the community.
The Club serves four principal areas of civic and social needs
